Jessa Duggar is keeping Counting On fans updated on the progress of her pregnancy. The reality star just shared a new photo of her growing baby bump on social media, a week after Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson talked about the tragic miscarriage they suffered last fall.

“#25weeks Pregnancy— such a precious gift, and definitely not something I take for granted,” Jessa shared alongside the pic.

According to People, Jessa also revealed that Swanson’s due date was the same as hers, which has been difficult to process. Although Jessa and her husband are excited about their baby, they also experienced a lot of grief over Swanson’s miscarriage. Jessa is also very much aware that her own pregnancy has made it hard for Swanson, who is constantly being reminded of her loss.

While the situation has been difficult to say the least, Jessa praised Swanson for handling everything with grace and kindness. She also revealed that Swanson has shown a lot of patience throughout her ordeal, especially when dealing with people who have been a little insensitive.

At the end of the day, Jessa explained how sometimes the best way to offer support is by avoiding saying too much.

Swanson suffered her devastating miscarriage back in October. The Counting On star, who wed Josiah last summer, recently opened up about her loss and confessed it was one of the hardest things she has ever dealt with.
