Jessica Simpson is keeping her home Coronavirus free, and she shared a throwback photo where she reminded the public that in 2003, she was a pinup/housewife of the year for the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. In the past 17 years, a great deal has changed. Jessica and Nick Lachey divorced and she is now the mother of three children with hubby Eric Johson. Together they are the parents of Maxwell Drew (7), Ace Knute (6), and Birdie Mae (1). When Jessica was dubbed the housewife of the year it was due to staying home on her reality television show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica while making headlines for her gorgeous figure. The Rolling Stone cover pictured Jessica in panties, a camisole top and wearing high heels while holding a Swiffer broom.
Jessica shared the Rolling Stones cover with her 5.3 million Instagram followers and provided an updated, more modern-day version. She included the following caption.
“Housewife of the Year looks a little different these days 😜”
In Jessica’s new version, she traded in her high, messy ponytail for a scarf around her head, wore no makeup, and wore comfy, tie-died lounge-wear. Though she still used her Swiffer mop and held cleaning products such as Lysol toilet-bowl cleaner, Jessica traded in her heels for a pair of multi-colored fuzzy slippers.
You can see Jessica’s pictures below.
Jessica and Eric have been self-isolating at home with their children due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and the 39-year-old shared several photos from their Easter holiday with her Instagram followers.
Like many people across the nation, Easter was different this year and people spent the holiday at home, rather than going to a church service.
Jessica stated the following about her family’s holiday.
It was a different kind of Easter at the Johnson house, but we had the best time celebrating as a family. The kiddos were very happy the bunny wore his mask and gloves. 🐰🐣🐇🐤🥕
Even though the family spent Easter at home, it was clear they had a wonderful time together.
Jessica frequently shares photos of her children and fans can’t believe how much her youngest daughter, Birdie Mae looks like her.
She is the author of the autobiography “Open Book” that topped the New York Times bestsellers list.
