Jessica Simpson Says Raising Three Kids Is Serious Business

According to Page Six, Jessica Simpson recently dished on motherhood and the challenges brought by having three children who are all under the age of seven. During a conversation with reporters from People Magazine, Jessica said: “three kids is no joke.”

The legendary performer claimed part of the difficulty of having so many kids like that is it’s easy to feel as if you’re being continuously pulled in different directions. “They’re all in such different phases now,” the reality star, actress, and singer remarked.

As fans of The Dukes Of Hazzard alum know, she and her 39-year-old husband, Eric Johnson, have three kids together, Birdie Mae, 3-months-old, Ace, 6, and Maxwell, 7. Their latest child they welcomed into the world back in May of this year.

Regarding her little girl, the youngest, Jessica said her baby is very precious. Simpson claimed her baby smiles a lot these days and it always lights up the room in such a tremendous way. It’s hard not to smile at the baby as she’s so happy and cute.

Furthermore, Jessica said their house has gotten really chaotic lately, and there’s a lot of “dividing and conquering” occurring in the household. However, she and her man still manage to carve out time for connection. Jessica said she and Eric sometimes order food and then download a movie.

Simpson said her man, Eric, is such a great inspiration in her life and they frequently go on “morning walks” together. In other news, Natalie Portman recently criticized Jessica Simpson and her legacy in an interview in which she accused her of perpetuating unrealistic standards for women.

Some people on social media, however, pointed out that Natalie was guilty of similar issues for women, considering she played the role of an older man’s romantic interest in Luc Besson’s film, Léon: The Professional.

In the past, Natalie addressed her role in this movie, stating that for years she received bizarre and sexual letters from older men interested in a romantic relationship with her. Coincidentally, this was a point she later took the singer, Moby, to task for.

After years of success in Hollywood and in the music business, Jessica settled down and had three kids. Since then, she hasn’t been quite as vocal in the scene.
