Joe Biden Lashes Out At Donald Trump While Defending His Son, Hunter Biden, At Democratic Presidential Debate

There was no way Joe Biden could escape the Ukraine scandal involving his son, Hunter Biden, and at Tuesday’s Democratic presidential debate, he was asked to address the matter.

Vice President Biden slammed President Donald Trump: “My son did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong …. this why it’s so important to remove Trump from office. He knows if I get the nomination, I will beat him like a drum.”

Hunter also defended himself by saying: “In retrospect, look, I think that it was poor judgment on my part. Is that I think that it was poor judgment because I don’t believe now when I look back on it — I know that there was — did nothing wrong at all. However, was it poor judgment to be in the middle of something that is…a swamp in — in — in many ways? Yeah.”

He added: “I gave a hook to some very unethical people to act in illegal ways to try to do some harm to my father. That’s where I made the mistake. So I take full responsibility for that. Did I do anything improper? No, not in any way. Not in any way whatsoever.”

The situation around Biden has been alarming, with some calls for him to drop out of the presidential race already being thrown around.

And while it does not seem like Biden would listen to those statements and throw in his resignation, various questions regarding his position have surfaced, with no concrete answer in sight.

Indeed, the situation seems to have backfired on President Trump more than anyone else right now, as his phone call with the president of Ukraine drew a lot of negative attention to him and his actions.

Many claimed that Trump was acting out of line by interacting with the president of another country in this manner. Still, the situation did not end up culminating with his impeachment, like some suggested it should.

For now, some are still questioning what the young Biden was doing under the table and what his involvement in Ukraine might have been.

However, there is much more attention on Trump and his behavior as president, with many accusing him of being inappropriate in multiple ways.

The calls to impeach Trump do seem to have to go anywhere at the moment as the situation is currently at a standstill.

Trump himself continues to insist that he should not be impeached, although hardly anyone expected a different response from the president.

Trump is not exactly known for being open to admitting his mistakes, and if anything, the president has made it clear that he is willing to double down on them whenever he can get away with it.
