As it turns out, the other New Jersey star has turned him down and one source claims to know the reason why!

Apparently, Joe invited the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star to the ring with him but to no avail.

But even though he wanted nothing more than a match against Mike, Joe is not letting his refusal get him down.

The source dished via HollywoodLife that ‘Joe has been really busy training for his big fight. His dream was to fight The Situation, but he turned it down. So, Joe still doesn’t have an opponent — and now he’s looking for the perfect one! An athletic guy to make it competitive.’

At this point in time, his first opponent is yet to show up but they better be ready because it sounds lie the Giudice man has been training hard for his first boxing match.

In the meantime, he’s still waiting for a final decision on his deportation situation.

For now, the gyms in Italy are still closed because of the coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic but Joe has been training at home nevertheless.

They also mentioned that while his ex, Teresa Giudice has experience with and loves fitness, she hasn’t given him any pointers.

Joe is doing everything all by himself, at least until he can get a personal trainer.

The source noted that ‘his age will make this hard for him to turn [boxing] into a career, but he still wants to compete. He’s really focusing on his health,’ which includes seriously cutting back on his wine drinking.
