Just because his own two kids’ experience with COVID-19 was supposedly ‘nothing,’ Joe Rogan believes young people should not worry about the virus. That being said, he got quite a big reaction when he shared his opinion that 21 year olds should not be getting the vaccine.

Joe Rogan, specified in a clip from his Joe Rogan Experience podcast that’s gotten viral, that he believes ‘it’s safe to get vaccinated, for the most part.’

However, he went on to argue that it’s not needed for a young and healthy person.

‘If you’re like 21 years old and you’re like, ‘Should I get vaccinated?’ I go, ‘No. Are you healthy? Are you a healthy person?” he argued in the clip that’s now all over Twitter.

Obviously, many users were not happy to hear this given the massive death toll the pandemic has caused – over half a million victims in the United States alone!

Not to mention that the NPR reports ‘hospitalizations of young adults are up about 40% since early March,’ so Joe Rogan could not be any more wrong.

But the part that he was the most opposed to was the vaccination of children!

‘Look, don’t do anything stupid, but you should take care of yourself. If you are a healthy person, and you are exercising all the time, and you are young, and you are eating well, like, I do not think you need to worry about this. But there is a lot of jobs that will tell you that you need to have this…people are worried about doing it for their children. I can tell you as someone whose both my children got the virus, it was nothing. If someone’s children died from this, I am very sorry this happened. I am not in any way diminishing that. One of [my] kids had a headache, the other didn’t feel good for a couple of days…It was akin to them getting a cold.’

He insisted that the virus is not statistically dangerous to kids so it’s ‘crazy to me’ that people would want the young ones to get vaccinated.
