Fans know that, not too long ago, Nikki Bella realized her dream of becoming a mom after welcoming her first child with fiance Artem Chigvintsev. That being said, it’s being reported that her ex, John Cena is yet to send her a congratulatory message even though there are no hard feelings between them.

However, his reaction makes perfect sense, and here’s why!

One insider claims to know that John Cena has all the intentions to ‘eventually’ reach out and congratulate Nikki on the birth of her first baby.

After all, he is nothing less of ‘very happy’ for her.

But then why hasn’t he contacted his ex of six years yet?

‘John is really happy for Nikki because she has exactly what she’d always wanted now. Having a child was important to her and John was never going to be able to give her that so he is really happy she’s had her son,’ the source explained via HollywoodLife.

Then, they went on to explain that John Cena doesn’t want to ‘get in the way’ of her bliss and that he is waiting for the right time to send his congratulatory message.

‘He will eventually reach out because it’s pretty much a guarantee they will see each other again. Either at a mutual friend get-together or a WWE event, so he would never want to make it weird for her. He’ll never be that guy. He’ll be really mature about it all. He’s proud that she’s diving into this new chapter in life and is happy that she’s in the place she wanted to be all along, as a mother,’ the insider explained via the same news outlet.

As fans know, Nikki’s happiness of becoming a mom was further increased by the fact that her twin sister, Brie Bella, also welcomed her second addition to the family on the same day – unplanned, of course!
