Josiah Duggar and his wife, Lauren Swanson, revealed last fall they had lost a baby. They both got candid in a YouTube video in February opening up about the difficult time. He shared it was hard to deal with the miscarriage so soon after they got married. For Swanson it was important she told her story because so many people don’t, and she wanted her fans to know they are not alone.

Swanson told her fans last month she is grateful for her husband, who took the best care of her immediately following the miscarriage. It made her feel not alone. The couple created a memory box full of letters they wrote to their baby, the positive pregnancy test, a photo of Swanson pregnant and a couple of other keepsakes to remember the baby they lost.
