Judi Dench has a long history of performing in films and on Broadway, for which she has won multiple awards and accolades, such as an Academy Award, a Tony Award, two Golden Globes, as well as ten BAFTA awards.
The James Bond alum was also appointed as the Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. However, the actress is particularly happy with the fact that she managed to go viral on the social media platform, TikTok.
During an interview on Channel 4 News, Dench revealed how she has been participating in her grandson’s skits and videos, many of which have accrued hundreds of thousands of views.

Judi said, “it saved my life,” before going on to say how her grandson knows all about TikTok. She says he is the one with all of the ideas. Dench says that the quarantine has been especially hard on her, like many other people.
She claims she often wakes up in the morning and wonders what day it is, and how she should go about spending her time. According to the actress, over the quarantine, she established a number of goals to keep herself busy.
For instance, she wanted to learn every Shakespeare sonnet, but she only got to around 9 of 154. As for how she has spent the remainder of the days, Judi has been talking to her friends and rehearsing her dance moves for TikTok.
Most recently, Dench appeared in the disastrous film, Cats, in the United States. The film was a box office bomb, however, she’s set to appear in Artemis Fowl as well as Six Minutes to Midnight. Many of her films and productions have been postponed on account of the pandemic.
Judi is very outspoken as well. She was one of the few actresses to criticize the elimination of certain artists’ contributions due to allegations against them.
