Julianne Hough Bares All On Cover Of Women's Health Recalls Telling Husband Brooks Laich 'I'm Not Straight'

Julianne Hough bares it all on the latest cover of Women’s Health magazine. The Dancing With The Stars pro also shows off her vulnerable side in a candid interview about “naked strength” which is the title of the September issue.

Although she has been married to her husband, Brooks Laich for over two years, Hough gets real about a “massive transformation” she endured following her wedding. She was in the middle of personal evolution that she feared her former NFL player husband could never understand.

“I was connecting to the woman inside that doesn’t need anything, versus the little girl that looked to him to protect me. I was like, ‘Is he going to love this version of me?’ But the more I dropped into my most authentic self, the more attracted he was to me,” the professional dancer admitted to the magazine.

Hough’s personal evolution and transformation ended up bringing her closer to Laich. America’s Got Talent judge admitted being more open intimately and physically with her husband, allowed her to reveal a deep secret to him.

“I told him, ‘You know I’m not straight, right?’ And he was like, ‘I’m sorry what? I was like, ‘I’m not. But I choose to be with you,” she shared.

The closeness also allowed Hough to admit some personal things to herself. She feels a particular safety with her husband that she has not previously endured in her life.

“I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this and there’s no fear of voicing things that I’ve been afraid to admit or that I’ve had shame or guilt about because of what I’ve been told or how I was raised,” Hough explained.

Juliane Hough is speaking her truth in the new issue of Women’s Health. Not only does the blonde bombshell get naked on the cover, but she is also personally baring it all.
