Jussie Smollett's Character Written Out Of Final Episodes Of "Empire"

According to multiple reports, Jussie Smollett’s character will not appear in the final episodes of Empire claimed the producers on Friday. At the moment, the popular series is in its fifth season and they’re filming for the 13th of March return.

In a statement, the producers and managers of the show said to avoid “further disruption on set,” they’ve decided to eliminate Jamal’s character from the final episodes. In other words, Jussie Smollett is losing his job.

“Jussie has been an important member of the Empire family,” the statement read, however, they had to eliminate his role on the show due to the allegations which they found “quite disturbing.” Currently, Jussie is facing felony charges for filing a false police report.

After Jussie paid his $10,000 bond and was released from a Chicago jail, the star went back to the set of Empire to apologize to his castmates for involving them. A few media outlets claimed to have had sources who saw Jussie leaving the studio.

Moreover, Smollett is purported to have doubled-down on his allegations: that two men beat him up and shouted homophobic and racist slurs at him, in addition to saying “this is MAGA country.” Eddie Johnson, the Police superintendent of Chicago, said that Jussie took advantage of the political situation in the nation for his career, a truly horrendous act.

As it was previously reported, on the 29th of January, Jussie claims to have been attacked by two men wearing masks. It didn’t take long for the police to narrow the attackers down after finding security footage of two Nigerian-America men, Ola and Abel Osundairo.

After bringing them into questioning, they quickly admitted to receiving payment for the attack. Smollett also gave them the money for purchasing supplies.

To make matters worse for the ex-Empire star, he appeared to roll his eyes and acted frustrated as they read his criminal case in court. His attorneys said the allegations were “outrageous.” The legal process and the relevant police departments in America were questionable, claimed his attorneys in the court of law.
