According to a report from Us Magazine, Justin Bieber was the talk of the town when he challenged the legendary actor, Tom Cruise, to a fight in the UFC octagon. After Tom refused to respond, Justin is reportedly back at making the request, after he first asked Dana White to put it on.
The 25-year-old singer-songwriter said on his Instagram video this past weekend, “I nominate Tom Cruise and Hailey Bieber.” Bieber, in the Instagram clip, was shown playing around with the new viral #BottleCapChallenge.
This past weekend, the new social media challenge began in which the participant has to roundhouse kick the top of a bottle without missing it. As it was previously reported, the 25-year-old singer first made his offer to fight the Top Gun actor approximately one month ago.
Previously, Justin took to his social media account to ask Tom Cruise for a fight in the octagon, however, at a later date, Mr. Bieber told TMZ that he wasn’t serious about fighting the legendary actor. He said he had just watched an interview with the actor and Mr. Cruise was on his mind.

Bieber admitted if he were to fight the Top Gun actor, he’d probably lose badly. Bieber claims he would have to prepare for the fight and get in really good shape. The star added, “I think he would probably be out of my weight class.”
Despite the fact Tom never responded, Justin has kept up with the joke on his account, even suggesting his wife, Hailey, give it a try. The 22-year-old said she accepted the challenge and nominated Justine Skye and Kendall Jenner to fight.
While it appears as though Justin was just kidding around, people on social media have been arguing back and forth about the likelihood of Justin winning, with most arguing that Tom would probably win, considering Tom has been doing his own stunts for years and likely has martial arts training.
This won’t be the first time the prospect of a celebrity boxing match has come about. Joe Rogan and Wesley Snipes were supposed to get into a match back 2005, but it never came to fruition.
