Justin Bieber Reveals How He And Hailey Baldwin Got Over Their 'Very Tough' First Year Of Being Married And Made It Work!

During a new interview, Justin Bieber opened up about his relationship with his model wife, Hailey Baldwin, admitting that their very first year of being married was rather ‘tough.’ That being said, the singer explained how they ‘moved on from their lack of trust’ at the time and made it work.

Justin told GQ that he always felt ‘compelled’ to tie the knot.

He explained that he felt like it was his ‘calling’ to ‘get married and have babies.’

While Justin and Hailey are yet to become parents, they have been married since 2019 and things seem to be going harmoniously, but that was not always the case.

He shared that ‘The first year of marriage was really tough because there was a lot, going back to trauma. There was lack of trust. There were all these things you do not want to admit to the person you’re with, because it’s scary. You do not want to scare them off by saying, ‘I’m scared.”

As a result, Justin spent the first year of marriage feeling like he was walking ‘on eggshells.’

Thankfully, it sounds like that has changed in the meantime.

‘We’re just creating these moments for us as a couple, as a family, that we are building these memories. And it is beautiful that we have that to look forward to. Before, I did not have that to look forward to in my life. My home life was unstable. My home life was not existing. I did not have a significant other. I did not have someone to love. I did not have someone to pour into. But now I have that.’

Hailey has also opened up about their ups and downs before, telling Vogue in 2019 that ‘marriage is very hard.’

According to her, a big part of the reason why, was public scrutiny of their relationship.

However, nowadays, it really appears that they are fully committed to one another and beating all the odds.
