Justin Duggar Engaged To Claire Spivey The Day He Turned 18 And Only 2 Months Into Courting Her!

You can always count on the Duggars not to waste any time tying the knot! According to new reports, Justin Duggar has already popped the big question to Claire Spivey after only a couple of months of courting and she said yes!

That being said, despite Justin being only 18 years old and Claire being 19, the two are engaged to be married!

After proposing to Claire, Justin Duggar talked to Us Weekly, sharing with the news outlet that ‘There is nothing comparable to finding the one you are meant to spend your life with. We know we’ve found that in each other. We can’t wait to be married and we are looking forward to a life of faith in Christ, love for one another and of happiness!’

The 19 Kids and Counting star went on to reveal that he asked Claire to marry him while celebrating his birthday alongside her.

At that point, he had been courting her for only two months.

However, despite this, Claire’s family has actually been close to the Duggars for decades!

In a Counting On episode back in September, when also first confirming their relationship, she shared that ‘Justin and I’s families have known each other for over twenty years, so before he or I were born, and then we got connected last year.’

Speaking of connecting, they apparently met at a family conference.

In a preview for the Counting On finale, Justin mentioned this before adding that only ‘Several months after, I talked with my dad and asked if I could start a relationship with her.’

Justin was excited to share the news that he is now engaged and was quick to let his family know via video conference while out in Texas.

Justin gushed over his other half as well, saying that ‘Claire has a lot of good qualities, and I can just sit here and tell you all of them, but there are so many good things I see in her. I am so blessed to have her in my life.’
