Kacey Musgraves Is Selling Her Clothing, Accessories, And Stage Costumes On Instagram - Here's Why

Country music superstar Kacey Musgraves is doing her part to help out the victims of the tornadoes that hit the state of Tennessee earlier this week. Musgraves has teamed up with celebrity clothing reseller Stage to Closet to raise money for the victims by selling her clothing, accessories, and stage costumes.

Musgraves had already partnered with Stage to Closet to help raise money for Tennessee forest preservation. However, she told her 1.9 million Instagram followers that she had switched her focus to the relief efforts after the devastating storm. The singer also posted before and after pics of the damage done to a local Nashville restaurant.

“Heartbroken for East Nashville,” the 31-year-old wrote in an Instagram Story post. “I lived on this side of town (in this neighborhood until recently) for years. Many friends are severely affected. Thankful to be ok and thinking of those who aren’t.”

Musgraves is well-known for her unique style that often features bright colors and vintage pieces. Some of the items that were available for purchase on the Stage to Closet Instagram feed included a set of three rings for $150, a vintage jumpsuit for $400, and gold Versace sunglasses for $250.

There are also items from Jimmy Choo, Madewell, Miu Miu, and Jeffrey Campbell.

For fans who are interested in purchasing Musgrave’s clothing or accessories, they must send a picture of the item they are interested via direct message to Stage to Closet’s Instagram page. Fans must also include their name, email, and shipping address. The first person to send a message about an item and pay within one hour will get each piece.

The sale is ongoing, and Musgraves says she is adding more items. “I’m gonna help in any way I can,” tweeted the singer. She also assured her fans that the storms didn’t affect her or her family, but many of her friends weren’t so lucky. She explained that just a few months ago she lived in the middle of one of the worst hit spots. Musgraves also voiced her concern and nervousness about finding out who the fatalities were.
