It has been already reported that Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker decided to have another baby via surrogate. But it seems that the RHOA mother had some initial reservations in terms of using a surrogate mom.

She received valuable advice from none other than Andy Cohen. As you know, the host also has a son via surrogacy.

BravoTV just reported that Kandi said the following: ‘I had commented. I said something like, ‘I guess I’m going to have a baby mama,’’ she recalled to Busy Phillipps on Monday as a guest on her talk show Busy Tonight.

She continued while tearing up, ‘And he said to me, ‘Don’t you ever say that because you are the mother.”And to say she’s your baby’s mom is taking away from you.’ It made me feel better.”’

It seems that back then, Kandi did not even know that Andy was having a child of his own via a surrogate mom.

‘And then when he announced it, he hit me up immediately and said, ‘Now you see why I felt so strongly.’ Kandi said.

She also revealed in her blog that surrogacy is the best option for her and Todd to have another baby and this is apparently due to health reasons.

‘We did find someone, and right now we are in the process,’ Kandi stated for US Weekly back in November.’We have girls. We have two embryos that are still left from when we had Ace [through IVF].’

Speaking about Andy, the happy dad has been enjoying every minute of being a father to his only child Benjamin Allen Cohen, who was born on February 4th.

The talk show host has recently given the world a glimpse of his precious baby, as well as gushed about fatherhood.

‘This is my son!! I grew up reading @People cover to cover, at a time when being gay meant there was no way to have a family. Now I’m honored to be featured on the magazine’s cover. Thank you @mrjesscagle for sharing my story. Link in bio, and check out the issue on stands Friday,” Andy Wrote back then.
