Kandi Burruss Would Leave 'RHOA' If Phaedra Parks Returned Even Though She Loves Being On The Show

It seems like Bravo is always having to choose between the loyalty of the OG housewives or bringing back fan favorites. Kandi Burruss recently revealed that she questioned her future with ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ when it was rumored that Phaedra Parks may make her return.

If you aren’t familiar with what exactly went down between the two frenemies, Kandi and Todd Tucker were accused of plotting to drug and assault Porsha Williams in their ‘sex dungeon.’ During the season nine reunion, it was revealed that Phaedra Parks was the source of the malicious rumor that left Burruss’ reputation tarnished.

Shortly after it was announced that Phaedra wouldn’t be returning for season ten, there was talk that fans wanted her back for the latest installment — the request runs rampant to this day.

Kandi told Hollywood Life that was the only time she questioned whether or not she would continue on with the Bravo series if Parks was rehired.

“There’s only been like one year that I had to kind of like question if [the show] is really worth it. Obviously, it was that year when the whole craziness with Phaedra happened, you know. So that was the only year that I kind of questioned it, because I was like, okay, this is too much.”

The ‘RHOA’ doesn’t think it’s all bad. She loves that the series has given her a huge platform and won over the hearts of millions of fans.

“I feel like it’s been a great platform for people to learn more about my businesses and different things that I’ve wanted to do, to work on. I’ve built up so many fans from the show that support all the things that I’m doing, so I love it for that.”

It seems like Andy Cohen may have to make another call on whether to bring back a fan favorite or risk losing an OG. Nene Leakes is currently upset with Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss for inviting Kenya Moore to a party.

She even took to social media to accuse them of plotting against her.
