Kanye West made a surprise visit this Tuesday alongside one of his most famous friends, Steve Harvey, Page Six revealed today. The Jesus Is King artist tweeted photos of his visit to Chick-fil-A alongside Harvey and the restaurant’s co-owners, Bubba and Dan Cathy.

West took to his Twitter account to say that the co-owners were “giving Grace.” He also included a photo of the 63-year-old television show host eating food inside one of the restaurants.

According to Page Six, West shared a number of tweets showing his interactions with surprised fans. Kanye encouraged restaurant attendees to sing his track, “Closed On Sunday,” which was partially inspired by the organization.

Fans of the Yeezy creator know he has sparked the ire of many in the entertainment industry this year, including D.L. Hughley, who put Kanye on blast during an interview with Vlad on VladTV.

The comic/actor accused Kanye of acting “crazy” only when he has a major project or business deal in the works. Furthermore, D.L. Hughley described Kanye as one of the worst types of humans on the planet, and he didn’t spare his criticism and disdain for him.

This all comes after the “Jesus Walks” rapper announced his presidential bid during the 4th of July weekend. The performing artist revealed the title of his political party, “Birthday Party,” meant to signify the mass celebration that would occur if his party won –  as if it was “everyone’s birthday.”

The criticisms against Kanye have been ubiquitous, however, including from the Forbes editor who suggested the rapper was merely starting a campaign to take away votes from the Democratic nominee, Joe Biden, and his recently announced running mate, Kamala Harris.

Despite this charge, Kanye wished Kamala Harris good luck this year, as did many other rappers in the industry. As most know, it’s a widely known fact that black Americans tend to vote Democrat, however, if Kanye ran, it would pull many of the Democrat voters toward his own party.

Put simply, the rapper’s critics believe Kanye is running a clandestine operation to help his purported friend, Donald Trump, win the election.
