Kanye West Speaks Candidly To Kim Kardashian And Estimates That She Is The Primary Caregiver For Her Children 80% Of The Time

The 45-year-old Grammy winner and rapper briefly addressed the criticism he’s gotten on the Alo Mind podcast, saying, “You get to that point everyone wants to say ‘Oh, it’s mental health,’ and everybody wants you to apologize a million times.”

He said, “Everyone wants to have everyone so medicated out, so controlled out, that you’re not even permitted to sand up for the things you’re passing to your family.”

West, who has been married to Kardashian for three decades and has four children with her (North, nine, Saint, six, and Chicago, three), continued, “Your home is your original church.” So, I’ll still give Kim suggestions for how to better care for the kids, even now. Still, she’s responsible for the majority of child care around here. After nearly seven years of marriage, Kardashian filed for separation from West in February 2021.

Since then, viewers of Hulu’s The Kardashians have watched her cope with the split and learn to co-parent their four children. Despite their ongoing feud, Kardashian, 41, made it clear in a May episode that she still wants West to be involved in raising their children.

In the episode, West drives up in a firetruck to pick up the kids from their house and take them to class. The SKIMS creator admitted in an interview that no matter how difficult things are, he wants his children to spend as much time as possible with their father.

Adding, “I believe sometimes people are ashamed to be super parents, everyone desires to be a cool dad, or sometimes you gotta don the fire hat, sometimes you gotta don the Easter bunny costume,” West argued that being a “cool dad” requires “superhero” qualities.

In a recent interview with Robin Roberts, Kardashian discussed her pending divorce from the rapper, revealing that she is candid and open about the split with their children.
