Karlie Kloss Gets Candid About Life With Ivanka Trump And Jared Kushner As In-Laws

Karlie Kloss is getting candid about what life is like with her in-laws, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner. The model is also speaking out on being connected to the Trump White House, as well as being part of the very republic Kushner family.

Unlike the Trumps and the Kushner families, both Kloss and her husband, Joshua are both staunchly liberal. Speaking with British Vogue, the former Victoria’s secret model opened up about how difficult it has been for her and Joshua.

“It’s been hard. I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life,” she revealed to the magazine.

Kloss and Joshua have both been vocal about sharing the same values. He had previously shared the same sentiment with Forbes magazine in 2017.

“It is no secret that liberal values have guided my life and that I have supported political leaders that share similar values. It’s important to be open-minded and learn from differing opinions. Jared and I still speak every day,” he explained having different views than his family but still remaining close.

Like her husband, Kloss tries not to let political differences divide the family. Even though Jared and Ivanka could not attend Karlie and Joshua’s three-day wedding celebration in Wyoming, they stopped by the day before the festivities began. The model was thrilled to have them there, even if it was only for a short time.

Ivanka has been supportive of Kloss too. She cheered her on during Project Runway in March and expressed how proud she was to have the model as a sister on social media. She is apparently not letting the fact that Kloss voted for her father’s opponent in the 2016 Presidential election come between the two ladies.

Model Karlie Kloss knew what she was getting into when she married her husband, Joshua Kushner. She is now connected to the Trump White House and not by her choice. However, Kloss firmly believes that as long as she and Joshua continue to stay true to their own beliefs, they will be fine.

It is undoubtedly tricky having such different political views with her in-laws. Thankfully both she and Joshua insist the entire family has found a way not to let party divide them, which had to be a daunting task in today’s political climate. Especially when Ivanka Trump is involved.

Kloss and her husband simply want to enjoy being married, as well as the people in their lives.
