Kate Beckinsale Claps Back At 'All Lives Matter' Troll Under Her Post Demanding Justice For Breonna Taylor

The actress had to deal with plenty of ‘all lives matter’ trolls on her platform amid the Black Lives Matter protests all over the country. That being said, she did not hesitate to clap back at the people arguing for a non-existent cause all the while downplaying the actual problem at hand – racial inequality.

It all started with Kate Beckinsale demanding justice for the death of Breonna Taylor, another African-American person who lost her life at the age of just 26 as a result of police brutality fueled by internalized racism.

The actress would not and could not stand for negativity on her platform, which is why she fired back at a ‘mean spirited’ person in her comments who just didn’t get the urgency and importance of the movement.

‘I join thousands of others asking you to bring justice to Breonna Taylor, who was shot 8 times in her bed by the Louisville Metro Police after they invaded her apartment looking for a drug trafficker already in custody,’ Kate wrote in the caption.

She went on to quote the victim’s mother, Tamika Palmer: ‘’I want justice for her. I want them to say her name. There is no reason Breonna should be dead at all.’ Taylor was an award winning emergency medical technician and first responder who loved helping her patients and community, and who made other people’s lives better. She protected all of you and your city. Now it is your responsibility to show her the same respect.’

Then, one person urged her to also mention David Dorn but also added the widely antagonizing hashtag ‘all lives matter.’

Dorn, a retired black police captain was murdered after responding to an alarm at a pawnshop amid the protests sparked by George Floyd’s killing.

In response, Kate wrote: ‘What’s really sad is you being pushy on a post about a woman’s death and saying ‘what about someone else’ actually does a disservice to the person you are trying to illuminate. It’s a f*****g tragedy too but you will stop people from honoring him since you are being mean spirited and co-opting him with a slogan which offends. All these deaths are tragic and could ALL have been avoided. ALL.’

She pointed out that making a post about one victim does not invalidate the others and called out the commenter for starting a fight where there was none.
