Finding things in common with members of the royal family is a difficult task, but you may be surprised to learn that they have guilty pleasures just like the rest of us. From Kate Middleton’s love of Indian food to Princess Eugenie’s obsession with Beyoncé, here are all of the royal family’s guilty pleasures revealed.
Middleton’s love for curry runs deep. In a recent interview, the Duchess of Cambridge admitted that her top choice for take-home is curry, despite the fact that Prince William cannot stand it.
William apparently does not enjoy eating spicy foods and instead prefers either pizza or Chinese food.
Princess Eugenie, meanwhile, may be Beyoncé’s biggest fan. In 2018, Eugenie and James Middleton attended Beyoncé’s concert in London.
Eugenie, of course, landed front row seats at the concert and even had the opportunity to sing part of a song with Beyoncé herself. Although Eugenie froze in the moment and forgot the lyrics, she clearly had an amazing time.
As the newest member of the royal family, Meghan Markle might have one of the most common guilty pleasures: French fries.
According to Hello Magazine, the former actress has admitted that she could easily chow down on these golden treats all day long. The only thing that stops her is an iron will and a desire to stay in top shape.
When she is not thinking about French fries, Markle is pretty big on red wine. In fact, she even named her old blog after a variety of red wine called Tignanello. She also enjoys sipping on Pinot Noir, Malbec and French Cabernet.
Out of all of the royal family’s guilty pleasures, it is hard to beat out Queen Elizabeth’s love for chocolate. Her Majesty’s former chef, Darren McGrady, once called her a “chocoholic” before revealing how Elizabeth rarely tries new things when it comes to food.
Prince Philip, on the other hand, has quite the adventurous palate.
Kate Middleton and Prince William have been making the rounds this week to promote Children’s Mental Health Week.
