Kate Middleton Wears Princess Diana's Lover's Knot Tiara With Alexander McQueen Velvet Dress

Kate Middleton looked majestic at Queen Elizabeth’s Diplomatic Reception that was held Wednesday evening at Buckingham Palace. Dressed in a navy-blue-velvet, Alexander McQueen gown, Kate Middleton wore Princess Diana’s Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara on her head. At 37-years-old, Kate Middleton the mother of four is one of the most popular royals and many feel she is most similar to Princess Diana. Princess Kate and Prince William were photographed greeting the guests and were full of smiles as they circulated amongst the crowds.
As Kate made an incredible statement with Princess Diana’s tiara, she also wore one of Queen Elizabeth’s necklaces, the Nizam of Hyderabad, in addition to a gorgeous pair of diamond drop earrings.
Kate pulled her hair back, away from her face and gathered it in a knot behind her head. The tiara took center stage and featured a row of stones. Princess Kate’s jewels were exquisite and people across social media platforms began talking about how gorgeous and regal Kate Middleton looked.

Kate Middleton is extremely fond of Alexander McQueen and she frequently wears the fashion house’s designs when attending special events.
