Katharine McPhee and David Foster are officially married. The couple said “I Do” on a day that signifies another special anniversary for the singer.

Almost one year after Foster asked the Scorpion alum to be his wife, they tied the knot in London at the Church of Saint Yeghiche in South Kensington. Rumors began swirling yesterday that Zac Posen had been tapped to design McPhee’s wedding dress.

Today she proved the reports correct by walking down the aisle in a Posen original. Foster was dapperly dressed in a tuxedo by Stefano Ricci.

The guest list was made up of family friends and included about 150 people. All five of Fosters kids, Sara, Jordan, Erin, Allison, and Amy, were there to watch their dad get married again.

Amy recently revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although she caught it early, Amy will still have to undergo a mastectomy. However, today, she put her cancer battle aside to watch to her dad become a married man for the fifth time.

The music man was previously married to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda, as well as B.J. Cook, Rebecca Dyer and Linda Thompson. Yes, he was once The Hills New Beginnings star Brody Jenner’s stepfather.

Their marriage is the second time around for McPhee. She was previously wed to Nick Cokas. They split shortly after pictures of her kissing her Smash director Michael Morris went public.

Although today Katharine McPhee married David Foster, it was already a special day for the American Idol alum. 13-years ago she dropped her first single after making a name for herself on the Fox show. McPhee’s cover of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ release day is now the same anniversary date as her wedding to Foster.

Hours before Katharine McPhee and David Foster became husband and wife, the actress gave fans a glimpse of how she was spending her last hours as a single lady.

“The secret to a calm and collected bride. And maybe a little Xanax,” she shared in an Instagram story of her getting a facial as she prepared for her big day.

Foster and McPhee have known each other for years, thanks to the music business. They were first spotted together as a couple in 2017. Last summer he proposed to his lady love in Italy.
