Katharine McPhee Shouts Out To Her Fiancé With A Sweet Message

According to a report from Us Magazine, Katharine McPhee and David Foster are getting ready to tie the knot quite soon, and while at her final Waitress show on the 15th of June, the singer finished off her performance with a shout-out to the infamous songwriter.

The 35-year-old said to the audience she would like to “stay here and do the show longer,” however, her “fiancé, who I’m about to marry, he’s endured enough separation.” Katharine said FaceTime is their “best friend.”

McPhee posted a couple of different photos and videos to commemorate her time at the show, which she also worked in on Broadway. The star said in the video that she was going to miss all of her fans, and was appreciative of all those who supported her by coming out and singing along with her.

Back in July 2018, Us Weekly revealed the Scorpion alum and the 69-year-old music producer got engaged after months of rumors which first started in May 2017. An insider said to the publication, “David and Katherine are leaning toward a small wedding.”

For the most part, fans and followers of the pair have been nothing but supportive, moreover, insiders close to them claim both parties are incredibly excited to finally tie the knot in a private – but very fun – ceremony.

With that said, however, some people on social media have criticized Katharine for dating a much older man. Katharine is 35-years-old and David Foster is 69-years-old. Some individuals, particularly on Twitter, have claimed David could “literally be her father.”

Age gaps in the entertainment industry are hardly a rare occurrence. Recently, Pete Davidson, the star of Saturday Night Live, pointed out this fact when talking about his romance with Kate Beckinsale.

Previously, David was married to BJ Cook for nine years, from 1972 until 1981, and also to Rebecca Dyer from 1982 to 1986. He also was in a relationship with Linda Thompson from 1991 until 2005, as well as Yolanda Hadid from 2011 until 2017.

David also has five daughters, including Sara and Erin Foster. McPhee, on the other hand, was married for eight years to Nick Cokas from 2008 until 2016.
