Finally, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have met their baby girl! After a long pregnancy during which the singer could not wait to give birth already, it appears that it’s finally happened and the parents were excited to share the news on social media but also share a first pic featuring the newborn.

While they are yet to post a snap that shows their daughter’s face, it’s safe to say that the sneak peek they did share was well received, many fans in the comment section showering the new mom with love and gushing over the new addition to the family.

Obviously, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are over the moon about it and they wrote a long message in the caption to express how they are feeling and more!

Furthermore, they actually partnered with UNICEF, since they are Goodwill Ambassadors, to share the big news alongside a pic of the famous parents holding their bay’s tiny hand.

Therefore, in a joint statement shared on the charity’s page, the new parents wrote: ‘We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter.’

They also revealed the name they have decided to give their daughter, which is Daisy Dove Bloom!

The message goes on to read: ‘But we know we are the lucky ones and not everybody can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours. Communities are still experiencing a massive shortage of healthcare workers and every 11 seconds a pregnant woman or a newborn dies, most of the time from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more lives are at risk because of increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicine that prevents diseases. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with the struggling parents now more than ever.’
