Katy Perry is still waiting for her baby girl to be born and it feels like it’s taking forever! The singer cannot wait to finally meet her first baby and also end this pregnancy.

That being said, Katy Perry joked that movies and shows should stop lying to people that pregnancies last for nine months because in reality, they actually go for more than ten months!

Fans of the singer have been looking forward to seeing her as a mom ever since she confirmed the news but at the end of the day, she is still the most impatient out of all of them!

In a tweet she shared earlier today, Katy Perry hilariously wrote: ‘petition: to have all movies/tv shows etc update the fact that it’s 10+ months instead of 9 months pregnant [eye-roll emoji.]’

As for the reason why a human pregnancy is said to be 9 months is that not all months of the year have an equal number of days and so, technically, most women welcome their bundles of joy somewhere between 9 and 10 months, although some are lucky enough to give birth a little before the 9 month mark as well.

The star’s latest update on her pregnancy comes after she also showed off the baby nursery, which is all ready for the arrival of her daughter with fiancé Orlando Bloom.

The fact that it’s all done proves just how much they are looking forward to having this child!

Perry did a tour of the gorgeous nursery via her weekly Smile Sunday show a few days ago and admitted that she had not showed it to anybody before that so she was excited.

The room is painted pink and has a totally whimsical style that suits Katy very much.

Fans were also able to see the crib, which is all white, the diaper changing area, and a cozy chair for Katy to sit on while feeding her baby and just cuddling with her.
