Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom attended Kanye West’s outdoor church on Sunday and Katy looked radiant and gorgeous. Fans are wondering if Katy is returning to her musical, spiritual roots and if we’ll soon hear more of her Christian and spiritual influences in her music. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged and fans are hoping there will be a wedding soon.

Katy Perry started her career in music as a Christian music artist. Born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson to Christian revivalist pastors Keith and Mary Hudson, Katy Perry was raised with a strong, Christian/Charismatic upbringing. Her first music album “Katy Hudson” was filled with Christian songs.

Though Perry didn’t stay in Gospel music, her spiritual influences remain strong in her art. The song “Unconditionally” though secular, is one that has resulted in many people commenting that the lyrics brought them closer to God.

Perry’s relationship with Russell Brand was rooted in spirituality and it seems that things are going to be different in her marriage to Orlando Bloom. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are known for their strong, motivational Gospel message and with Katy Perry’s Christian roots, it appears she and Orlando Bloom are taking a more Christian approach for laying their marriage foundation.

Kanye West has been holding weekly Sunday Services in Calabasas since January and they seem to be getting more popular. The Kardashian/Jenner clan is large enough to grow a church in itself, but their crowds are large and the music is powerful.

The Kardashians have attended church regularly for years. Kris Jenner attended California Community Church for years and the Kardashians and Jenners frequently visited Pastor Carl and Laura Lentz’ Hillsong Church.

At this point, it doesn’t appear Katy Perry has sung any solos at Kanye’s church service, but fans are hoping she does.

As more news about Kanye West’s outdoor Sunday Service is shared, more fans are asking if he is going to become a full-time pastor.
