During a brand new interview, Katy Perry opened up about her relationship with Orlando Bloom; more precisely, she revealed the very ‘sweet’ way in which he popped the big question! The proposal that apparently, took place on Valentine’s Day was just like out of a fairytale!

However, it turns out that there was one hilarious problem!

According to the singer, her actor fiance may have needed some more rehearsal time when it comes to learning his proposal lines because he messed them up!

Perry told all about the romantic and hilarious proposal while being a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

According to her, on February 14, they went to dinner and were also set to stop by an art gallery after eating.

However, Orlando went big and had a helicopter waiting instead!

Then, the star told the host about the hilarious way in which the whole thing went wrong.

‘It was very sweet, he asked to marry him in a helicopter. But the funny thing is — we had champagne in the helicopter, and the [ring] box was in his pocket, and he had written down everything he wanted to say on a note to divert. You know, he was going to pull it out. So I’m reading [the note], and hearing the champagne was broken, bottles everywhere.’

She went on: ‘And I’m still looking at the note because he’s pulling this box that’s too big for his pocket. It rips his coat pocket and his elbow goes into the champagne. And I’m like, ‘no, I’m just reading the note, I know you’re not doing anything.’’ That is the cutest engagement ever!
