Kelly Clarkson Says She Can't Even Imagine Tying The Knot Again Amid Difficult Divorce!

While chatting with Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Clarkson revealed that she has no plans of ever tying the knot again following her divorce from Brandon Blackstock! Check out what the country singer had to say!

As fans know, Clarkson is currently going through a divorce and that is not easy at all!

But regardless of the whole process, she apparently finally feels like she can breathe properly and is not very certain that she wants to change her status ever again!

While having Paltrow on her talk show, Clarkson opened up about her divorce amid a discussion about the actress’ choice to get married to Brad Falchuk in 2018, four years after her Chris Martin split.

Kelly told her guest that ‘You’ve been married for two years. Coming from someone who is literally amidst a divorce, I cannot even imagine doing it again. So that is amazing that you found love, you found the space and the vulnerability—the level to say yes, and do it all over again. Was that hard for you?’

In response, the actress dished that it was ‘Probably the hardest thing I have ever done, and probably allowing myself to learn the lessons I needed to learn from my divorce and then being able to really kind of do that work on myself and then open myself up again. You will have it again, Kelly. It just takes time.’

Kelly has been pretty open about her divorce, admitting before that it’s one of the hardest things she’s ever had to go through.

While Gwyneth was very encouraging, it makes sense why the American Idol alum is not sure she wants to go through marriage and, potentially, another heartbreak again.

‘I’m actually in that place where I think a lot of people, I’ve heard, that go through divorce, it’s almost like you start dating yourself again, like you actually make time for you again, and I love dating me. I’m actually not looking for it,’ Kelly stated.
