Kevin Federline Reportedly Denies Britney Spears More Time With Sons Until She Is 'Stable'

Britney Spears baby daddy and ex-husband, Kevin Federline, is reportedly denying her more time with their two sons until she is “stable.”

Amid all the conservatory drama, Spears is now also battling Federline as she wants to spend more time with Sean Preston, age 13 and Jayden James, age 12. US Weekly is reporting the former dancer is adamant his ex-wife needs to fix her mental health issues before he switches up their current custody arrangement.

“Britney’s immediate concern has been in having increased visitation time with her boys,” share an insider with the magazine.

The father of six has had primary custody of the two boys since Spears had her nervous breakdown over a decade ago. Although the couple has come a long way to ensure their sons have a great relationship with both parents, all of the drama surrounding the pop star in recent months has Federline’s guard up.

“Kevin won’t allow the boys to spend more time with their mother until Britney is once again stable and therapeutic on medication. He allows the boys to spend time with Britney, but it’s at his discretion,” the same source continued to share with US Weekly.

Since Spears checked herself into a mental health facility to deal with issues surrounding her father Jamie’s health, Federline has been worried about her. He has not spoken out on Spears conservatorship or her decision to seek help. However, his attorney did release a statement shortly after the Crossroads star began her 30-day stint in the treatment center.

“Kevin commends Britney for recognizing that she needs to take a step back and that she is taking the reasonable steps to deal with her situation in a responsible way,” the 41-year-old’s attorney shared to The Blast.

Kevin Federline and Britney Spears have worked hard to rebuild their relationship for the sake of their kids after their marriage crumbled and she had her breakdown. However, as he witnesses the drama in her life, especially when it comes to her parents, he reportedly grows concerned for their boys.

The ‘Toxic’ singer is currently in the middle of battling her parents in court over having her conservatorship lifted. Amid that drama, rumors have been swirling regarding Spears mental health. A judge has ruled to have her be evaluated once again before a final decision is made in the court case.
