Kevin Hart Addresses His Homophobic Tweets Once Again - Here's What He Had To Say!

The comedian wants to make it very clear that is not the type of person he is and wishes he could make things right. That being said, Kevin Hart decided to apologize once again for his offensive posts towards the LGBTQ community he posted a long time ago.

Earlier today, the star addressed the scandal on his SiriusXM radio show, titled Straight to the Hart.

In fact, he even dedicated an entire segment of the show to discussing the controversy over his tweets in detail!

‘I want to say that I have no problem with gay people. I don’t have one homophobic bone in my body. I want you to be happy, be gay, be happy.’ And then I say as a heterosexual male, if I can do something to stop my son… that’s where the joke starts!’

He went on to explain that ‘These weren’t words that I said to gay individuals. I didn’t say these words to people, at the time, this was our dumb asses on Twitter going back and forth with each other. We thought it was okay to talk like that, because that’s how we talked to one another. In that, you go, f**k! This is wrong now.’

As he continued to talk about the scandal, the comedian made it clear that he’d realized the sort of impact his words have had on the LGBTQ community and how much pain they have caused.

According to him, the reason why he understands better now is that he is ‘around people of the LGBTQ community.’

He shared that they would tell him how words like that make them feel and how much they hurt because of everything they had been through.

This is also the reason why the community would prefer for such things to not exist on social media at all, even when they are used as jokes.
