Kevin Hart reportedly wants his inner circle to downplay the injuries he sustained in the Malibu car crash over Labor Day weekend.
The comedian has requested those that are in the know regarding his back issues, keep the details under wraps. A source close to Hart opened up to Us Weekly about precisely what the actor expects from his friends and family during his time of need.
One of the reasons the 40-year-old does not want the extent of his injuries revealed is allegedly because of the various projects Hart has in the works.
“He wants his inner circle to downplay the seriousness of his injuries because he has so many project commitments,” the unnamed source revealed to the magazine.

“It’s going to take him many months to recover. It’s going to be extremely long and grueling. Everyone is focused on his recovery,” the source shared.
The actor is reportedly up and walking slowly but is in a significant amount of pain. There is speculation Hart will be leaving the hospital this week but not to go home. Rumors are swirling The Upside star is going to be spending some time at an in-patient rehab facility.
Hart’s good friend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave an update on his condition during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday. The Rock replaced his Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle costar on the show following the accident.

“He’s doing very well. He’s bummed he couldn’t be here, as you know. But look, I love the guy. He’s one of my best friends. And honestly, thank God. It could’ve been a lot worse. So, he’s a lucky man, and I’m so happy he’s OK. And he knows it too. I wish him the best and a speedy recovery, and I’m gonna see him soon,” Johnson stated.
Kevin Hart reportedly wants his inner circle to keep the extent of his surgery on the down-low. The actor and comedian has various projects in the works and does not want them to jeopardized by his condition and recovery. Hart has not spoken out publicly since the accident.
