According to a report from The Wrap, Kevin Spacey was interrogated by the United Kingdom’s Scotland Yard in May regarding the sexual assault allegations he’s currently faced off against. Reported first by The Independent, the interview supposedly took place in the United States, rather than in Europe.
The actor wasn’t detained by the authorities, and he wasn’t named in a statement either. However, the London Metropolitan Police have continuously named Spacey by his official name in their investigation of the charges.
The Metropolitan Police force said in a statement that back in May of 2019, a man “under caution,” was interviewed, which, in other words, means his rights were read to him. Kevin, thus far, has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct, including those made by fellow actor, Anthony Rapp, in October of 2017.
Formerly, the House Of Cards alum was the artistic director of London’s Old Vic Theatre for approximately 11 years. However, they had to fire him from his position following accusations of sexual misconduct, among them were many at the Theatre as well.

By the 16th of November, the Old Vic Theatre discovered around 20 cases of questionable behavior on Kevin’s part. Ironically, in recent news, a lawsuit against Kevin was dropped regarding the Nantucket bar incident in which a 20-year-old man, who was 18 at the time of the altercation, sued Kevin for sexual harassment among other transgressions.
However, at the last minute, the accuser dropped the case with no explanations given. Thus far, the reaction to the case on social media has been questionable, with some people pointing out holes in the story, including the fact the man was jokingly texting his girlfriend repeatedly about how Kevin was harassing him.
The wave of allegations against Kevin came with Anthony Rapp’s comment back in October of 2017, when he accused the actor of coming on to him at a house party one evening after a play they both starred in. Reportedly, Kevin was 26-years-old and Anthony was just 14-years-old at the time of the incident.
Afterward, many others in Hollywood came out to accuse Kevin of similar misbehavior. The Punisher star, Jon Bernthal, formerly from The Walking Dead, claimed Kevin was a bully on the set of Baby Driver.
