Even though O.T. Genasis managed to make quite the splash with his recent remix of Keyshia Cole’s “Love,” gathering lots of traffic on social media and other platforms, it seems like at least one person, in particular, was hardly impressed by his work.

Specifically, Cole herself has voiced her displeasure with the track, claiming that she expected more from O.T. Genasis, and bashing him in some subtle and not-so-subtle ways.

It all seems to boil down to Cole’s ego, though, as it appears that she was mostly displeased with comments implying that Genasis’ work was better than her own.

Some fans stated that they could not hear “Love” in the same way again, while others pointed out that the new track was funny and should be taken in a light-hearted way even if the rapper sounds terrible.

All in all, the remix has gained a surprising number of comments considering its overall popularity, and it is not hard to believe that this might have ticked Cole off.

Meanwhile, many fans have continued to express their support for O.T. Genasis and have been praising his work actively.

Some have even been sharing their own suggestions for his next possible tracks, although it is clear that he has his own mind about this manner and is not planning to listen to those suggestions anytime soon.

Which is probably for the best, because he has made it clear that he has what it takes to carve out his own path in the entertainment world, despite being relatively fresh to the whole game.

Tyrese commented on the matter saying: “I’ve been replaced as the leading man in this video… Dam.”

A second person stated: “This is the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard in my life. If this doesn’t win a Grammy, I will gladly give up on humanity. Thank you so much, Mr. OT, for the angelic vocals. God has truly blessed you with extreme talent.”

50 Cent shared his thoughts on the song: “Ok if you want me in ya club, you have to play this
😠.”

This follower replied: “What is she mad for tho? Hate people that ruin something funny. I’m sure that man just gained you some streams too. 🙄💯”

Another social media user said: “Keyshia just remixes it with him and get a bag damn 💁🏾‍♀️ end the year laughing with us. 🤣😂”
