Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Welcome Their Son — 'He's Here And He's Perfect'

Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West welcomed the birth of their fourth child, a son, on May 10, 2019. Born via surrogate, Kim made the official announcement on social media with several tweets. She said the baby was here and perfect then said he is Chicago’s twin. Chicago celebrated her first birthday on January 29, 2019, making the two youngest members of the family 16 months apart. At this point, the baby’s name, birth weight, and length have not been announced.

Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West have been married since 2014 and have four children: North West, June 15, 2013, Saint West, December 5, 2015, Chicago West, January 29, 2018, and their new son. The children are all close in age and there is no question the Kardashian/Jenner empire is expanding.

Details on Kim Kardashian-West’s surrogate haven’t been revealed, but reports indicate she did not use the same surrogate as the one who carried Chicago.

Kim Kardashian-West suffers from placenta accreta and experienced potentially life-threatening complications when she did carry her own children to gestation (she delivered North and Saint).

Now that the family has grown, it’s unclear if there will be any change to Kim Kardashian-West’s study schedule as she prepares to get her law degree. Kim continually makes headline news for her efforts in helping reduce the sentences of non-violent offenders who have been incarcerated for an extremely long time.

It should be noted that the plight of African-American males facing harsh prison sentences due to bias hits close to her heart as she is now the mother of two black sons.

Kim Kardashian-West has made enormous progress in helping to win the freedom of multiple inmates as well as encouraging President Trump to sign legislature that helps combat the problem.

As the family has yet to reveal the baby’s name, many people are making online guesses. Kim Kardashian previously ruled out a directional name like East, South, or even West but whether it will be a name of a city remains unclear.

Not many in the Kardashian/Jenner clan have chosen traditional names so it is likely that the couple will pick something unusual.
