Imagine if you will, the date is January 21, 2021. It is the presidential inauguration only instead of watching it on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, or C-Span, you’re watching it on the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. That’s right. Kanye West is president, Kim Kardashian is the First Lady, and the Oval office is filled with the Kar/Jenners, their children, and a bevy of Hollywood professionals tasked with the job of keeping Kim’s glam on point. The cameras pan the inaugural ball only it is lit up in red, dim lights with the Sunday Choir in the background singing Jesus Walks. If you thought that Donald Trump had zero chance at becoming president, people think Kanye West has even less of a chance of becoming president of the United States.
While many people felt that Melania had posed in risque photoshoots, therefore she wouldn’t make a good First Lady, Kim Kardashian’s leaked sex tape would make her the first First Lady that many in the public had seen in that act, and apparently, that’s problematic for many.
People on Twitter are sounding off and they are not thrilled about the idea of Kim Kardashian as First Lady of the United States.
Kanye West shared the following announcement on Twitter.

One user shared the following post and specifically referred to Kim’s sex tape.

Another user said that they wanted to leave the country.

It seems the major consensus is that people would leave the country if Kanye West were to become president. It’s also unclear how serious Kanye West is about running. Kanye has been talking about an upcoming album called God’s Country and some think the announcement of a 2020 presidential run is just promotion for his new album.
tellin you right now, i don’t have it in me for kanye to (actually) run for president. nope.
the idea of having to critique his policy, analyze coverage whatever fuckery he’s saying this week. real discussion of kim kardashian becoming first lady.
i’m out. i’m out. no, i’m out.

What do you think about Kanye West’s announcement? Can you imagine Kanye West as president and Kim Kardashian as the First Lady? Would you want to leave the country if Kanye West were elected?
