Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian West is expanding her popular SKIMS shapewear line after her September launch exceeded all expectations. In just minutes, the popular brand sold $2 million worth of products online, and that means Kim is busy making plans to add more items.
This week, the 38-year-old started the expansion with the SKIMS Cotton Collection that features mostly bras and panties which are available in nine different colors. The cotton t-shirt and leggings have already sold out.

However, this is just the beginning, as Kardashian filed a trademark request with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for “SKIMS Solutionwear” back in July, and the items listed on the “live” trademark give fans an idea of what Kim has in mind for future products.
There are the items that she is currently selling on the SKIMS website – shapewear, lingerie, bras, panties, and bodysuits – and according to Radar Online, she also listed a plethora of other products.
The list includes personal hygiene items like perfume, deodorant, body spray, essential body oil and body lotion. And, it appears Kim K. is also going to expand the line for frequent travelers and pet lovers, as she also listed “luggage, bags, all-purpose carrying bags, travel bags, shoulder bags, handbags, tote bags, overnight bags, duffle bags, leather bags, wallets, carriers for animals, harnesses for animals, cosmetic bags sold empty, and purses.”
But wait, there’s more! It appears that SKIMS is going to expand into a true lifestyle brand, as other items on the trademark list include baby doll pajamas, stockings, nipple cover pasties, rompers, bikinis, socks, tee shirts, sweatshirts, swimwear, cover-ups, shawls, robes, sandals, and imitation leather belts.
Kim initially filed to trademark the name Kimono for her shapewear line, but that choice didn’t go over well with fans. After the backlash, Kardashian wrote on Instagram that being an entrepreneur and her own boss is one of the most rewarding challenges she has been blessed with in her life. She added that the direct line of communication she has had for so many years with her fans and the public is what has made it possible for her to be so successful with her business.

“I am always listening, learning and growing – I so appreciate the passion and varied perspectives that people bring to me. When I announced the name of my shapewear line, I did so with the best intentions in mind,” explaind Kim. “My brands and products are built with inclusivity and diversity at their core and after careful thought and consideration, I will be launching my Solutionwear brand under a new name.”
Now, the Kimono trademark is officially “dead,” and it looks like SKIMS could end up being one of the most successful business ventures in the Kardashian family.
