Kim Kardashian is under fire after promoting her newest perfume that will go on sale April 15, 2020. The new perfume is part of her KKW Fragrance line and is a collaboration with her mother Kris Jenner. The KKW x KRIS perfume is being sold for Mother’s Day and the bottle features a mother and adult woman on the bottle. Described as a “chic white floral fragrance with notes of freesia, tuberose and cashmere woods, Kris and Kim are stirring up interest in the new scent. It seemed that Kim thought that donating 20 percent of proceeds from their new fragrance line would be a good way to promote the perfume, but instead, it seems to have backfired. Now people are asking Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner why they aren’t just donating money from their millions to the cause.
Kim has 164 million Instagram followers but many are not responding favorably to Kim launching a Mother’s Day perfume right now. The Coronavirus pandemic has put most to the nation out of work and people have been advised to social distance themselves, even from their loved ones. Experts believe the height of the pandemic, where approximately 3,000 people could die each day, would happen around the time Kim Kardashian’s new perfume KKW x KRIS launches.
Experts say they believe April 16, 2020, may be the deadliest day for the United States in terms of Coronavirus deaths and Kim launches her new perfume for sale on April 15, 2020.
Kim shared the following post with her Instagram followers.

One follower left the following comment.
“No offense but aren’t you guys like billionaires. Maybe you could donate 100% from this one fragrance to covid. Just a thought.”
Another user shared their views.
“I don’t think now’s the right time to be pushing product sales- albeit offering a % to charity. As a brand/influenced use your platform to give freely & help during this time. Many are suffering/dying in poorer states around the world. If you want to do something good – make it PRACTICAL. Give our masks, hand sanitizers, food etc.”
