Kooking 4 Kids Welcome Tekashi 6ix9ine's Donation Following His Rejection From No Kid Hungry

If you’ve been following the news at all, you’d know that the recently released rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine, tried to send a hefty donation to No Kid Hungry, but they denied his donation due to moral conflicts. The organization dropped a statement in which they stated there was a clear line between their own values and that of Tekashi 6ix9ine.

As most know, Tekashi 6ix9ine was in prison on racketeering charges after he was involved with the Nine Trey Gangstas Bloods. Upon his release, Tekashi, also known as Daniel Hernandez, began his active social media campaign again and even released a new song, “GOOBA.”

Regardless, 6ix9ine obviously wanted to make a donation to help out hungry kids, but it was denied. In response to their rejection, 6ix9ine came out to say that it was clearly one of the cruelest things he had ever witnessed: the act of taking food right out of children’s mouths, the rapper claimed.

With that said, it’s clear other organizations don’t see the issue with taking money from a controversial artist. Kooking 4 Kids said they had no problem with accepting money from Tekashi 6ix9ine.

In a statement to TMZ, Kooking 4 Kids from Los Angeles said they didn’t have a problem with taking money from someone like Tekashi 6ix9ine. If a person wants to do good, they might as well take the money and benefit children everywhere.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Kooking 4 Kids travels to four different parts of Los Angeles on a regular basis and dishes out 1,600 – 1,800 meals to children daily. They always run out of food, and they’re always looking for ways to meet their beneficiaries’ needs.

Since then, there has been a little conversation on social media about money and whether the source of it matters at all, especially in relation to charitable donations. Regardless of Tekashi’s squabbles, there’s no question he’s been atop of the mind of many other performers and social media users.

Since the release of his song, “GOOBA,” Tekashi 6ix9ine broke a few records both on YouTube and on Instagram Live.
