Kristin Cavallari is adding reality dating TV host to her long list of career accomplishments. Fox has tapped her to host the revival of Paradise Hotel, which is the network’s version of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
Paradise Hotel follows a group of singles who are offered the chance to check into the luxurious, exclusive tropical resort and leave with bags of money. The original version was not a huge success. It only ran on Fox for one season in 2003 but a second season was featured on Fox’s sister network MyNetwork TV. The dating competition series was given another lifeline in 2008 on Fox Reality Channel.

In the show, singles try to win cash and remain in paradise as long as possible by pairing up. The new installment will have viewers at home using social media to help influence the action on the show. It is a new twist that network executives are hoping will earn them a new summer hit.
On Thursday, May 9th a new crop of guests will check into the resort again, and Fox will give Paradise Hotel another chance for success. It will air three times a week for five weeks, in a supersized and quick season. Another advantage for the show this time around is that it has a reality TV show powerhouse on its side, Cavallari.
“Kristin grew up on the frontlines of reality television and is the perfect host to introduce Paradise Hotel to a new generation of viewers. The show is a fun balance of romantic love, cutthroat competition and humor, and Kristin’s unique experience, especially with live television, makes her the best person to navigate the wild, unpredictable moments,” revealed Rob Wade, president of Alternative Entertainment and Specials at FOX Entertainment.

There is no doubt that the Uncommon James founder is reality TV gold. Even though she is not the nasty brutal young woman she was back on Laguna Beach and The Hills, Cavallari is still as entertaining as ever on Very Cavallari. The mother of three does not hold back on being blunt, bold and brutally honest.
However, now that she is a mom, there is a lighter funnier side of Kristin Cavallari that have fans obsessing over her E! show. Gone is the girl everyone loved to hate and in her place is a funny, smart, intelligent woman who will not take any crap.
Will you tune in to watch Cavallari host Paradise Hotel?
