It’s been almost a decade since Kim Kardashian was last single but now that she’s filed for divorce from Kanye West, she is free to date again, if she so desires! But does she?

As fans know, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West used to have a pretty enviable marriage as far as the ones in the entertainment industry are concerned.

However, throughout the years, they have seemingly grown apart and now, they’ve ended up splitting!

Before Kim decided to make it official and file for divorce, Kim and Ye were already living separate lives for months!

While the Keeping Up with the Kardashians cast member has been at home in LA with their four kids, the rapper has been spending most of his time at his ranch, working on music.

Not too long ago, the man even moved his massive 500-pair sneaker collection as well as other belongings to the ranch, something that caused a lot of speculation that Kim and Kanye were indeed over for good!

Before making this step, Kim tried to go to marriage counselling but they still couldn’t make it work in the end.

Now that she’s filed for divorce, one source tells E! News how she feels about finding someone else to love!

‘Kim isn’t ready to date and is not focused on dating yet. She has had a rough year and she wants to focus on herself and her kids right now,’ they dished.

However, the reality TV celeb is well aware that her friends will soon try to set her up on dates!

Still, she’s supposedly not putting any of her energy into finding a new man for herself after Kanye.

‘She has the full support of her family and dating is not on her radar, she is solely focused on her kids,’ a second insider stressed.

Aside from being a mom, Kim is also ‘truly in business mode’ and focusing ‘on her next phase of life,’ which is trying to become a lawyer!
