Kylie Jenner And Kim Kardashian Put Perfume Launch On Hold Is Taylor Swift The Reason For The Delay?

Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian have put their perfume launch on hold just days after announcing the latest collaboration, Kylie Jenner By KKW Fragrance.

The famous sisters were set to release the new fragrance line on April 26th, a date that did not go unnoticed by Taylor Swift fans. For weeks now the singer has been teasing a mystery project, which many people believe is new music, that will drop Friday, April 26th.

Kardashian immediately came under fire for deciding to unveil her new perfumes on the same day as her one-time nemesis had already planned to launch her project. There is no love lost between the two ladies, but recently Kanye West’s wife declared the feud between her and TSwizzle was over.

The not so coincidental date has Swift fans thinking the reality TV star is throwing shade at the ‘Shake It Off’ songstress. Now one day after backlash erupted against Kardashian for reigniting the infamous feud, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star has delayed her product launch.

In a statement released on Twitter, the KKW Beauty mogul revealed Kylie Jenner By KKW Fragrance launch had been pushed back because of problems with bottle durability. She made it clear neither she nor Kylie would release a product that did not 100% meet guideline qualifications.

Although Kardashian gave a pretty good reason for the delay, fans are still projecting that the delayed launch might have something to do with Swift. Maybe Kim and Kylie are trying to save face or avoid more scrutiny over their fragrance.

Kim Kardashian West has promoted her now-delayed collaboration with Kylie Jenner on social media extensively over the past couple of weeks. The lip-shaped perfume bottles were also going to include notes of red lotus blossoms, liquid amber, and peony. They will reportedly still contain all of those things and be sold for $40, once the project gets final Kardashian and Jenner approval.

Taylor Swift will no-longer be releasing her new mystery project on the same day her frenemy Kim Kardashian drops her latest perfume line. It could be just another coincidence, but that seems unlikely considering Kardashian and Jenner announced then changed the date on their launch all within a couple of days.
