Growing up the child of Caitlyn (formerly Bruce Jenner) and Kris Jenner, Kylie was surrounded by the spotlight, paparazzi, and had plenty of financial resources to ensure a comfortable upbringing. Critics argue that due to her lavish childhood, and her parents’ wealth, Kylie Jenner was not a self-made billionaire but used the resources her parents afforded to her for her success.

In a new article with the German edition of Interview, Kylie Jenner defended being described as self-made.

She stated the following.

“There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that’s the truth. That is the category that I fall under.”

Kylie did understand that her circumstances were different and that she already had a target audience and market base due to her fame. However; Kylie did defend herself again by saying that her parents stopped giving her money when she turned 15-years-old.

She explained that she started Kylie Cosmetics with her own money therefore, she truly is a self-made billionaire.
