This should have been a joyous day for the Bryant family but unfortunately, Kobe Bryant’s 42nd birthday came after his passing in a shocking helicopter crash and now, that special day is rather painful for his surviving daughters and wife, Vanessa Bryant. That being said, La La Anthony made sure to send some love and encouragement to her best friend, paying tribute to her in a new post.

La La’s words are as touching as they come, the reality TV star making sure to applaud Vanessa for her incredible ‘resilience’ after losing both her husband and second-born daughter, 13 year old Gianna.

She posted a throwback pic of the two BFFs as they can be seen in the water together and both of them looked stunning.

Alongside it, in the caption, she wrote: ‘On Kobe’s birthday today, I celebrate you @vanessabryant. I know today is extra tough but your strength, love, and resilience is unmatched. I’ve never seen anything like it. Nothing makes me happier then when I tell you one of my crazy stories and u start laughing ur a** off.’

It did not take long for Vanessa to see the heartwarming message and respond with a simple ‘I love you [heart and kissy face emojis.]’
