Fans in attendance at Lady Gaga’s Enigma residency show at the Park MGM got a lot more than they bargained for during Saturday night’s performance. Not only did they get to see the superstar put on a show of a lifetime but there was a surprise guest.

The singer was joined by her A Star Is Born costar, director and friend Cooper on stage. They proceeded to give fans a duet of the hit song ‘Shallow’ from their movie.  It was the first time the pair had performed the song live, and they did not disappoint.

“So, a really good friend of mine, I don’t know if you know him, but his name is Bradley. He made that movie A Star Is Born. So, I’m gonna be a little chance-y. Yo Bradley, you wanna come up and do this one?” the actress said before Cooper appeared on stage with her.

Only Lady Gaga could pull a stunt like that with her friend and get away with it. Thankfully, the hunky actor was happy to oblige his pal. Cooper appeared at ease on stage as he cracked a couple of jokes with the pop star before they gave audience members a performance they would never forget.

Social media exploded after Cooper, and Lady Gaga sang ‘Shallow’ live. Fans were freaking out over the show-stopping performance and were not afraid to express their feelings about it. Posts were not only filled with video clips of it but gushed with praise for both of the singers. Anyone who saw the movie knows these two have fantastic chemistry and it apparently translated in the live performance.

Video of the duet quickly went viral letting those who were not at the show witness the performance. Several who posted on social media shared there was not a dry eye in the house after ‘Shallow”. Even watching it online moved several fans to tears, sharing pictures, GIF’s and admiration on social media.

Although the Las Vegas performance was the first time Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performed ‘Shallow’ together since filming A Star Is Born, their next onstage duet might be at the 91st Academy Awards in February. There is speculation the two friends will be asked to perform the song during the televised event.
