This will be sad news for Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper shippers. A new report suggests the singer will not be going after her A Star Is Born co-star after all.
When Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper decided to call it quits, the world immediately pointed the finger at his close relationship with Lady Gaga after the two displayed amazing chemistry both on and off the screen.
There were multiple reasons that the couple split, but it turns out that those rumors about Cooper and Gaga majorly affected their relationship.
A source told US Weekly: ‘The movie had a major impact on Bradley and Irina’s relationship. Even though there was nothing romantic between Bradley and Gaga, the noise was difficult for Irina to deal with.’
Fans were on polar opposite sides when it came to reactions to the breakup.
Some were ecstatic to find out that the actor was now a single man and able to date someone who seems perfect for him while others unfairly blamed the pop singer for being a homewrecker.
Gaga knows that all eyes are on her to make the next move and she has decided to do the opposite. The 33-year-old knows that she isn’t the reason that Irina and Brad broke up but her close friendship with him didn’t help and she feels bad about it.
She will not date the father of one but they will still remain buddies.
‘The breakup has been consuming and jumping back into a relationship at this point is not Bradley’s first priority, but he and Gaga have a deep friendship. Bradley and Gaga hope to work together again and their friends believe, for the time being, they are co-stars and great friends.’
Meanwhile, Shayk is putting all her focus into trying to be the best co-parent she can with Brad and diving fully back into her career.
