In the video, footage with the singer is interspersed with scenes from the movie Top Gun and the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick. Gaga sings in two locations: on the runway and in the hangar. As an accessory, the singer chose aviator glasses. Joseph Kosinski directed the music video.

“When I wrote this song, I did not realize how many layers it covers in the film, my psyche, and the very nature of our world. I wanted to satisfy the deeply human need to understand and be understood with this song,” said the singer.

Earlier it was reported that Tom Cruise flew to the premiere of the film “Top Gun: Maverick” by helicopter. The 59-year-old artist got out of the helicopter in a black tuxedo and went to the premiere’s red carpet. “Tom Cruise Top Gun Maverick” was written on the side of the helicopter.

Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the 36-year-old Top Gun, tells the story of Pete Mitchell, nicknamed Maverick, who has been one of the Navy’s best pilots for over 30 years: a daring test pilot who drives the boundaries of what is possible and studiously avoids promotion in a rank that would make him land forever. As he prepares a squad of Top Gun alumni for a special mission like never before, Maverick meets Lieutenant Bradley Bradshaw, the son of his late friend, Lieutenant Nick Bradshaw.
