Lady Gaga Writes Heartfelt Letter About Finding Beauty As She Launches Makeup Line Haus Laboratories

To say fans are thrilled that Lady Gaga has entered the beauty business with the upcoming, July 15, 2019, pre-sale launch of her makeup line HAUS Laboratories is an understatement. The products will officially be on sale in September and each makeup collection comes in its own set called HAUS. For example, there is the HAUS of Goddess, HAUS of Metal Head, HAUS of Rose B*tch, HAUS of Rockstar, HAUS of Chained Ballerina and Haus of Dynasty. There are six Hauses in all and Lady Gaga’s catchy slogan is “From our HAUS to yours.”

There will be mini-kits also available and Amazon Prime members will have first dibs on the goods (while supplies last) during Prime Day, that kicks off on July 15. Anyone who wants to explore Lady Gaga’s makeup line more fully will find everything they need to get started on the official HAUS Laboratories Instagram page.

As you can see, Lady Gaga’s makeup is to be worn by everyone regardless of gender. She also uses the catchphrase, “Our HAUS your rules” which is fitting as the makeup line isn’t geared towards one gender. It is modeled and to be worn by male, female and those who may define themselves as something other or a combination of the two.

Lady Gaga wrote a heartfelt letter where she opened up about the importance of makeup and how it helped her find her own, unique makeup and style.

Makeup is more about enhancing beauty, it is also about creative expression and no one exemplifies that more than Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga shared the following letter on her official Instagram account.

“When I was young, I never felt beautiful. And as I struggled to find a sense of both inner and outer beauty, I discovered the power of makeup. I remember watching my mother put her makeup on every morning, basking in the glow of her power to put on her bravest face as the hard working woman she was. I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true. It was then that I invented Lady Gaga. I found the superhero within me by looking in the mirror and seeing who I wanted to be.
Sometimes beauty doesn’t come naturally from within. But I’m so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn’t know I had.
I’ve come to accept that I discovered my beauty by having the ability to invent myself and transform. They said I was just weird, but really, I was just Born This Way.
