Lala Kent Attends AA Meeting While Mourning Her Dad On Father's Day

Lala Kent has been focusing on her sobriety for quite some time now. Sunday was Father’s Day and it brought back the exact pain that led her to become dependent on alcohol.

The Vanderpump Rules star took to social media to remind anyone who is struggling with the same problem that she is there from them. In her Instagram Story, she was seen riding in the car with Randall Emmett after attending an AA meeting.

She also posted a tribute to her late father and opened up about how the day reminds her of the bind they used to share.

‘Last year was the first Father’s Day I didn’t have my dad. I sat and cried, watching this waterfall, trying to understand how this happened. How my life had changed forever, overnight. Today, I feel the same way. Each moment that goes by without him I just think, damn I haven’t seen his face in over a year… I haven’t hugged him, or heard his voice. To say my heart is broken is an understatement.’

The post went on to read: ‘I will go forward in my life finding comfort in knowing he is looking down on me, being my angel like he has always been. Looking at the father my fiancé is to his two little girls is enough to make my heart explode. His girls look at him the way I looked at my dad. Even tho today is sad, I can’t help but feel happy and blessed. From my dad, to my brothers, & my incredible fiancé, the men in my life are, and will be, amazing fathers. Happy Father’s Day, dads.’

Last season of the Bravo show centered around Lala’s erratic behavior after the sudden loss of her father Kent Burningham. Since then, her fiance Randall Emmett has taken her under his wing by helping her cope.
